Send Candy To Our Troops

halloweencandywrappedAs Halloween approaches and you spend time with friends and family, you are likely reminded of what makes the holiday season so special and enjoyable. As a result, whether you are missing loved ones who are overseas serving our country or if this time of year is simply a reminder of those individuals who are not home with their families, you may wonder if there’s anything you can do. Fortunately, we have decided to participate in a program that sends reminders of care and support to our troops. Interested in learning more? You can participate, too!

What Is This?

We are participating in something called Candy Buyback in collaboration with Operation Gratitude, a program that sends care packages to service men and women overseas.

How Can I Get Involved?

As you and your children are very well aware, Halloween is quickly approaching, which means we will all be tempted with large quantities of candy (don’t worry, we understand the temptation – just make sure you and your little ones brush your teeth!). As a result, we are participating in contributing the Halloween care packages, which will include sending candy to our troops for a truly sweet reminder of our gratitude for all that they do. If you are interested, we invite you to drop of your extra Halloween candy at our practice between Monday, November 2 and Thursday November 4, 2015.

Is There Anything Else We Can Do?

A donation of candy is already an extremely thoughtful act. However, if you or your child feels like getting creative or would like to include a personal note, care packages can also include drawings and letters of thanks. Bring these along with your candy, so we can be sure they are included.
